You’re great when you’re fresh (like a Cretan orange), as you are the first day of the month (and all month long). Enjoy! On the 6th and 7th, it looks like you’re bringing some of your innate sharpness to work, and your ideas are like a summer salad in midwinter — crunchy, terrific, and refreshing! You and your lover are snapping your fingers and tapping your toes on the 11th and 12th. Is that a dancing date on your calendar? On the 17th, don’t forget that you know how to get what you want — use your charm and add a little of that secret sauce. You’re in the lead at home, work and play on the 23rd, but you’re sleepy. Take a nap! On the 27th and 28th, you need your strength for a teensy-weensy frustration that comes your way.
Spend the daylight hours of the 1st chitchatting, sending email messages or making faces at your favourite neighbours through your window . Start expressing yourself, because you might not even know what’s on your mind until you start putting it out there. This is true all month. First, you need to figure out what’s going on — try getting a little help from your friends. Then you need to deal with the conflicting feelings that emerge. Step three: You feel great, like a prized Minoan bull! And on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of the month, your positive mindset remains. Starting just before midnight on the 10th, then continuing into the 11th and 12th, you find yourself grappling with a serious power struggle. And it looks like it’s you against yourself! On the 18th, 19th and 20th, you could discover that all the emotional digging you’ve been doing lately has unearthed some pretty deep passions. Go with it! On the 25th, 26th and 27th, you end the month with a bang — and an intense internal conflict, too. Hey, it’s good for you.
Miscommunication that transpires at on the 1st will be much easier to clarify if you talk it over with your best buddies later that night. If you still haven’t ironed the whole thing out by the 2nd and 3rd, keep talking. This month, you really learn the value of friendship. On the 8th, 9th and 10th, you could feel a little fuzzy about what you were squabbling over in the first place. If that’s the case, take time-out! You know what day it is the 14th, but the object of your affection may forget. Don’t take it personally if Cupid’s arrow was a little off the mark this time. On the 20th, you move slowly during the day, but pounce at night! After you work your magic, maybe that old object of affection won’t ever forget Valentine’s Day again. The 25th sees you changing your mind about something, and on the 28th, you get creative as you figure out how you’re going to communicate that change.
The 1st brings you calm and easygoing energy. If you’re tempted to hurry that night, however, you might forget about the zippy Greek bureaucracy and get stuck on the merry-go-round between offiices . Try not to give in to that desire for speed. Instead, do your best to hold onto the positive energy generated during the day. Don’t forget, emotions are like solar panels: You want to use them to store the good stuff! On the 5th, make time for family or friends, and on 7th, prepare yourself to fully enjoy three days of feeling pretty wonderful on the 8th, 9th and 10th. On the 14th, make some plans to go out, whether they’re romantic or not. You and your fellow humans may not agree on the 17th. Whether it’s home decorating or politics, hold your ground without going on the defensive. On the 22nd, do something special for yourself. (How about an organic chocolate-cherry ice-cream in Winter? Or a shiatsu massage? Or both at the same time?) On the 27th, anything you intuit is probably right. So pay attention!
The 2nd and 3rd, you’re doing one of your favourite things: Getting to know somebody new. This person has a great way of phrasing things that makes you understand old truths. In fact, you can learn a lot from them. On the 7th, take a few of their ideas and put them into the mix at work. Who knows what your brainstorms could yield now! Your key word for the 12th is: You. Yes, you’re what it’s all about, and you’re going to be getting into the ‘you’ spirit by the 13th. That’s when your friends come to centre stage and show you where your incredible energies are going. On the 18th and 19th, turn your attention to your family. Maybe one of your relations could use a little extra love? Make sure you’re sticking to that new health routine on the 24th, and on the 28th, don’t spend any money you don’t have.
On the 2nd and 3rd, don’t get your tail feathers in a twist if a neighbour or colleague struts their stuff like they’re the king of the peacocks, and leaves you feeling like a sitting duck. There may be two sides to the story, and you need to make peace, sooner or later. On the 8th, 9th and 10th, make like a parakeet and beautify your nest. Go ahead and put up some fancy streamers and shiny tinfoil (or the real-house equivalent), and all your friends will want to drop in for a visit. You are flying about as high as the earthly atmosphere will permit on the 15th — and you feel great! On the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, take as much time as you need on a project. You’ll be glad you did later, when its success is a real feather in your cap. On the 27th, don’t forget that we all whistle our own tune, and we rarely have the same rhythm as our neighbour
Well, if your year doesn’t start off with the big ‘R’! No, not rowboats. Nope, not eating raw oysters (although that could be involved). Not reeling, romping or relaxing (although all three could definitely make appearances). Your 1st, 2nd and 3rd are characterized by Romance, with a great, big capital ‘R.’ What could be better? You’ll find out the 7th, 8th and 9th, when you take two parts romance (one for each of you); add Cretan saffron, coconut milk from Xalkidakis, and a secret spice; and wind up with a delicious couple of nights. Wow! On the 14th, 15th and 16th (and maybe the 17th, too), get creative. Your work and your play will benefit. The 20th, you’re more ‘on’ than a 100-watt lightbulb (that’s not switched ‘off,’ of course). On the 25th, you’re all about balance and expression (oh, right — and romance!). The 30th, keep your head down. Smoother sailing is on the way.
On the 1st, put some of your prodigious good energy and creative talent to work to start the day. You’re on a roll, and all kinds of lovely things are going to emerge. On the 2nd and 3rd, don’t forget that even a gifted person like you can make mistakes sometimes. And if you do, well … don’t be afraid to say you’re sorry. This is a lesson that will be useful all month (and the rest of your life). On the 8th, 9th and 10th, you get what you want (but you’re kind of used to that, aren’t you?). Do somebody a favor on the 15th. On the 18th, 19th and 20th, you’re like the proverbial big fish — and your pond is feeling pretty small! But for now, things are quite nice the way they are. On the 25th and 26th, you need to do one of your least favorite things — compromise! And by the 28th, you’re back in a really creative space.
You could wake up on the 1st feeling slower than a shiny new Porche convertible stuck in an Heraklio traffic jam. But, just like that Porche, you sure look good! And by the time the workday is over, you’re revving your engine, ready to head out on the wide-open highway of life. Vroom, vroom! On the 6th and 7th, you talk a good game. But can you play one, too? Better keep your eye on the prize, or there could be trouble, especially the 14th and 15th (remember: Don’t drop the ball on Valentine’s Day!). On the 20th, 21st and 22nd, it sure looks like you know how to play to win, because you go home with all the goodies. (Will they fit in the trunk of that shiny sports car? Sure they will, if you pack them efficiently.) Whomever you meet on the 25th and 26th will want to support your projects — so get out there and shake some hands! On the 28th, chill out, and don’t make any sudden moves
If you’re feeling creative the morning of the 1st, grab some paper and your crayons (or a computer-drawing program) and get going! You’ve got to seize the muse by the pigtails when you catch sight of her, or she’ll run away and play hopscotch with somebody else. By the 2nd, you’re in a different kind of space — less wild and crazy and generative, and more contemplative and conservative. You’re thinking long term, which is great, but don’t overlook the present. On the 7th, get to the point quickly and quietly, and don’t let anybody distract you. Watch out for a little ‘spanner in the machine’ situation at work on the 12th. You know what day the 14th is, right? Plan a little romantic something. The 17th may be Friday, but you have your nose to the grindstone (and you’re enjoying it thoroughly). On the 23rd and 24th, that old creativity muse is back — and she’s brought enough fun-loving friends along for you to have an entire parade! Mia Hara!
If you go out the night of the 1st, there’s nearly a one-hundred percent chance that something interesting will happen. Maybe it’s a gypsy band passing through town and giving free guitar lessons, or maybe it’s a circus. Whatever it is, serendipity is a distinguishing feature of this month for you — so keep your eyes peeled and your mind open! On the 4th and 5th, you could hear an old family tale with a whole new twist, and this retelling could point your life in an entirely different direction (or it could just be really entertaining). Just before midnight on the 10th, you have a flash of insight. Grab it! Then hold on for a wild, creative ride the 11th and 12th. The 14th, it’s — yep, you know. So make up your mind to either celebrate with Cupid or ignore that dastardly little dude. Just be sure to stick with your decision. On the 21st and 22nd, organize a group outing (maybe to the Aquarium in Chersonissos?), and on the 26th, get ready for a wonderful day.
On the 1st, go ahead and get up early — it’s an efficient, productive (and great) day for you. So, rise and shine and have a cup of decaf coffee (or a carrot juice, or a Greek coffee, or whatever your morning beverage of choice) and enjoy the waves of creativity. This ‘work well and feel great’ vibe sets the tone for your month. Just don’t get discouraged during the moments (or even days) when the energy wanes. That’s just how it works — it ebbs then flows, ebbs then flows. The 2nd could be an ebb day, so move through any confounding moments with as much grace as possible. By the 7th, you could be in for another low-energy phase. The sooner you learn to love this inconsistency, the sooner you’ll find peace with your creative processes. On the 13th, 14th and 15th, you need to deal with some relationship issues. Be honest, even though it’s tough. You could start the 20th like a gooey jellyfish, uncertain of its shape (and itself), and end it as a self-assured stingray. You should meet an Aquarian, go to the Aquarium together and say hi to the fishes. On the 25th, you assist someone who could really use the help.
