New Pastor for the Protestant Church of Crete

The Protestant Congregation of Crete has now a new female pastor. Mrs. Malve Lehmann-Staecker, a retired reverend, has come to Crete, to offer Evangelical services and cure of souls in German language.

Mrs. Lehmann-Staecker has a degree in psychology, too. She became wellknown through TV, and her recent assignment was the management of 13 parishes in Hamburg, Germany. Thanks to this high ranked allocation, we hope for an ongoing strengthening and new impulses for the organization of congregational life on Crete.

We are looking forward to meet every Sunday morning our Greek and international friends, tourists and Cretan residents. The service takes place in Heraklion in the Catholic chapel of the Holy Cross. From the central bus station near the harbour, follow the old fortification walls easterwards, passing the shops of Captain Hook and Electro Kavelas, then turn left into the small side-street and after 50 m you will find the chapel.
