Cheaper calls to mobile phones in Greece

From the 1st of June, calls from the OTE landline network to mobile phones are 7% cheaper, as Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation announced new, lower prices for calls to the Cosmote, Vodafone, TΙΜ and Q-Telecom networks. This reduction is due to new call termination rates by mobile phone companies, just five months after the previous reduction.

The new prices are 0.1658 euros per minute for calls to Cosmote, 0.1662 euros for calls to Vodafone, 0.1781 euros for calls to ΤΙΜ and 0.1781 euros for calls to the Q-Telecom network.

The announcement adds that the price of calls from OTE landlines to mobile phones have dropped by 28% over the past two years. The above charges are the same for any day of the week and time of day.
